First stage is a beep and flash on head up lights on windshield. if no intervention by driver and collision still probable, 3 beeps and a pulse of the ABS system.

I've taken several 8 hour long trips in my 2022 crosstrek. I've never had any issues with eyesight or adaptive cruise control. Yes, it does correct but I've never thought that it was out of the lane, or sudden jerking. I would definitely get in touch with subaru to check your calibration. It should only cut out if it can't see anything, usually when there is heavy fog or rain, sun glaring into the lens, or something on the windshield blocking the camera view.
